Lenten Study Series

During the season of Lent this year, the pastors are presenting a Lenten Sudy series using the book Gospeled Lives, by John Indermark. This devotional book offers a short daily reading, accompanied by scripture and prayer, and with a question for reflection following each reading. We will be offering multiple opportunities to share insights on this study, with classes meeting on Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m., Thursdays at 6:00 p.m., and again on Sundays at 9:15 a.m. (in place of the regular Adult Sunday School.)

Senior Christmas Luncheon

The Senior Christmas Luncheon took place on Tuesday, December 13 beginning at 11:30 a.m. Forty seniors and their guests enjoyed lasagna, a plethora of wonderful Christmas cookies, and entertainment by a pastor/pianist from Plainfield.

Heritage Sunday

On May 22, we celebrated the twenty-four Heritage Members of Roberts Park Church - those who have been members for fifty years or more. They were honored in the worship service, receiving a flower and certificate, and joined family and fellow members of the congregation in a luncheon after church.

A booklet was prepared with recollections from many of the Heritage Members. Here are some of our favorite excerpts:

Organ Renovation is Complete

On Palm Sunday, we heard the glorious sounds of our pipe organ for the first time since December. The organ has received a total restoration and renovation by one of the nation’s leading organ builders and experts in organ maintenance and repair, the Indianapolis firm of Goulding and Wood.
