Music Staff
Sheri Kellam Sullivan, Choir Director
Sheri Sullivan joined the Roberts Park staff in the fall of 2009 as director of the Chancel Choir and Bell Choir. Originally from Fairfax, Virginia, Sheri has worked in church music for nearly 20 years. She received a Bachelor of Music Education with a concentration in voice from Indiana University School of Music, and a Master of Arts in Church Music degree from Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis. Sheri strives for growth and development in her church music ministry by offering variety in the music programming and opportunities for all ages to participate in multi-dimensional, multi-sensory programming. A life-long learner, Sheri is currently working on a book to help church musicians who are new to the field better equip themselves to deal with the idiosyncrasies of church music and the parishes they serve. Sheri and her husband John have two children.
Jerry Franklin Gillooly, Organist
Jerry Gillooly has been a church organist since 1957 and joined the staff at Roberts Park United Methodist Church in 2001. He majored in music education in college, receiving B.S. and M.S. degrees at Indiana State University with organ, piano and trumpet as his primary instruments. Jerry taught in the Avon and Perry Township Schools, and for twenty years was a music teacher in the Plainfield Schools. He and his wife Pat are the parents of two daughters and are Papa and Grammy to five grandchildren. Jerry is most grateful for the recent renovation of Roberts Park's pipe organ. With God's help, he strives to enhance the worship services through the use of this glorious instrument.
