Richard Smith, Business Administrator
Dick Smith is a graduate of Purdue University’s Electrical Engineering program. Dick held several positions with Indiana Bell & AT&T and directed IMAGIS, a consortium that developed a computerized, high-resolution aerial photography and mapping database for Marion County. Dick is married to Helen; they are the parents of two adult daughters and have seven grandchildren. Dick has been a member of Roberts Park United Methodist Church since he and Helen were married there in 1963. He enjoys participating in the Chancel Choir and Bell Choir, and is an active member of the Roberts Park Missions Committee. Dick has worked with the inner-city district of the Crossroads of America Council Boy Scouts for many years, and also enjoys gardening and the outdoors.
Mary Sue McAlister, Soup's On Program Director
Mary Sue is a graduate of Indiana University. She worked for PNC Financial Services for over 30 years, primarily in residential mortgage production and marketing, before moving in a different direction in 2013. In addition to her work at Roberts Park, she is also Administrative Assistant and Volunteer Coordinator at Meridian Street United Methodist Church. Mary Sue is married to Phil and has two grown boys. She is a flutist and is Assistant Director of the Indy Winds Flute Choir and also plays with the St. Mark’s UMC Orchestra as well as occasionally playing during worship services at Meridian Street, where she is also a member of the Chancel Bell choir. She also enjoys knitting, reading, and going to symphony concerts with Phil and spending time with friends and family.
Robert J. Robinson, Administrative Assistant
Rob graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. degree in Management and Administration. He worked for Chase Bank (initially Indiana National) for twenty seven years as a cost analyst and supervisor of the armored car receiving area. He started an interstate trucking company in 2008 and oversaw administration and accounting functions. He has been married to Barbara for 28 years and both have been a member of Roberts Park UMC since 2012. Barbara has two adult children and five grandchildren. Rob enjoys running, fishing, camping and reading. He enjoys ushering at Sunday services and helping out at the church July 4th celebration.
