Richard Smith, Business Administrator

Dick Smith is a graduate of Purdue University’s Electrical Engineering program.  Dick held several positions with Indiana Bell & AT&T and directed IMAGIS, a consortium that developed a computerized, high-resolution aerial photography and mapping database for Marion County.  Dick is married to Helen; they are the parents of two adult daughters and have seven grandchildren.  Dick has been a member of Roberts Park United Methodist Church since he and Helen were married there in 1963.  He enjoys participating in the Chancel Choir and Bell Choir, and is an active member of the Roberts Park Missions Committee.  Dick has worked with the inner-city district of the Crossroads of America Council Boy Scouts for many years, and also enjoys gardening and the outdoors.

Cynthia Carr, Administrative Assistant

Before joining the staff of Roberts Park in 2010, Cindy Carr had a 25-year career as a college music professor and professional performing musician on the French horn. Cindy has performed at Carnegie Hall and in fourteen different countries, and still performs locally as a substitute horn player with the Indianapolis Symphony and other groups. She has degrees from the Eastman School of Music and Florida State University, and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language at IUPUI. Cindy also tutors for IndyReads and teaches English at St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Indianapolis Public Library. She and her husband enjoy living in downtown Indy and spending time with their daughter, who is a student at Herron School of Art and Design.
