Weddings at Roberts Park

our church

With stained glass windows soaring two stories on three sides and finely detailed woodworking warming the space, the sanctuary is a grand yet intimate setting for weddings. Foyers at both Delaware and Vermont Street entrances feature marble tile flooring in a classic black-and -white pattern with twin black walnut staircases leading to the sanctuary floor. The sanctuary comfortably seats 450 guests on the main floor and 275 in the balcony.

The smaller but similarly appointed original chapel, located on the first floor, can seat up to 50 guests.

The sanctuary and chapel are fully accessible for guests with mobility challenges. A free parking lot (95 spaces) is adjacent to the building, and metered street parking is widely available.

music

Music is an integral part of most weddings, and the sound of our majestic pipe organ in the sanctuary’s acoustically perfect space can be a joyful and sacred component of your wedding ceremony.

The organ, originally installed in 1876 and upgraded in 1915, 1973 and 2011, has three manuals and 2,175 pipes. In the chapel, a smaller Wilhelm four-rank cabinet pipe organ lends a similar elegance to smaller wedding ceremonies. A piano is also available in both the sanctuary and the chapel.
